Our Mission: Career women committed to helping girls become self-sufficient through interactive volunteer activities that support Girls Inc. programs.
This member-driven group uses its annual membership dues of $125, $250 or $500 to help underwrite programs enabling every girl who is in need of and wishes to participate in Girls Incorporated programs. Our goal is to support 150 girls annually.
Members receive exclusive invitations to participate in direct service project opportunities with Girls Incorporated Programs.
Our events provide an opportunity to interact with girls and discuss issues of concern in their lives. Annual volunteer projects with Women for Girls:
- Annual Y.E.S.S. Luncheon – (Youth Empowerment and Self Sufficiency) where girls learn to successfully operate a business.
- College Shower – An event to send Girls. Inc. participants off to school in style
- Belle of the Ball – an event where girls are provided with prom dresses, accessories, and empowerment workshops.
- Winter Workers Project – An event where the Girls Inc. staff, girls, their families and the community come together to assemble care packages for families in need during the holiday season
Additional service projects with Girls Inc. include tutoring, career mentoring, holiday giving projects, educational workshops and other activities.
Women for Girls members have the opportunity to build camaraderie with other women who are passionate about giving back to their community and helping future generations.
