Dear Friends,

Our work never stops!

Now more than ever, the Girls Inc. of Orange County team is committed to serving our girls, staff, supporters, volunteers, and friends. We want to ensure you that our work goes on, and is more important than ever as we face uncertain times.

Now that all of the K-12 schools we serve have closed we have suspended our face-to-face programing. We have also implemented a remote work environment for our Girls Inc. staff.  We have taken these measures to ensure the safety of everyone in the Girls Inc. family and to make sure we are following health official guidelines.

Girls Inc. continues to inspire ALL girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

We are still here for our girls everyday and we are using this time to plan the life-changing programs we will be providing to our girls through virtual platforms starting next week. We are laser-focused on meeting the priorities of our girls during this time, which include our critical programs that are made possible by YOU, our outstanding donors, friends, and parents as well as our community and educational partners.

Your support matters now more than ever, and we will provide you with an update in the coming weeks regarding all upcoming events and programs. Many of our donors are using this time of uncertainty to come together to support those in need.

If you feel inspired to uplift a Girls Inc. girl some way, please reach out to me via email at lsantana@girlsinc-oc.org or phone at 949-413-7690.

You are part of a community that matters deeply to each and every girl we serve and for that, we thank you. In these uncertain times, one thing that remains unwavering is our commitment to our community and girls. Our team looks forward to continue supporting our girls, staff, donors, and partners. We urge you to remain in touch with us, remain vigilant, and take care of your health. Please stay well and be safe.

With gratitude,

Lucy Santana-Ornelas
