SUMMER PROGRAMS

Innovative Summer Programs

All of our 2018 summer programs have concluded but check back in 2019 for more information on next summer!

Eureka!

Eureka! will take at Orange Coast College and is a four week commitment. Eureka! is an intensive enrichment program for girls who are currently in 6th-9th grades. The goal of Eureka! is to expose girls to various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers in the hopes that they will become interested in those fields in college. Eureka! girls will also be participating in workshops on personal development that address various topics such as self-esteem, body image, healthy relationships, and peer pressure. In addition, the girls will be participating in fitness and nutrition education classes. There are various elective classes on a weekly basis such as swimming, dance, and art, and field trips are taken every Friday. It’s a fun-filled summer where girls will try new things and make new friends!

YESS Entrepreneurship Academy

The YESS Entrepreneurship Academy is the place for girls to learn leadership, economic literacy, and business skills by creating their own mini-society and opening up their own businesses. Girls also gain exposure to a University setting hosted by Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business and Economics. YESS Entrepreneurship Academy is open to current 3rd – 5th grade girls.
